How we build a number
We read the whole set before we measure anything: plans, sections, elevations, engineering and specs. Then every trade is measured by volume, area, length or count, and marked on the drawings in colour so you can see where each figure came from.
Quantities are priced at current labour and material rates for the state and region the job is in, with waste, site conditions and preliminaries allowed for. Assumptions, allowances and exclusions are written down, and every estimate is checked before it goes out.
Who does the work
Our estimators come from construction, quantity surveying and engineering backgrounds, and work in Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift and CostX every day. The same person who measures your job is the one who answers your questions about it.
